Band Parent Mission Statement
Bartlett High School Band Parents are a task-oriented group of parent volunteers whose goal is to assist the band director in the areas of student supervision, coordination of fundraisers and other activities associated with the marching, pep and concert bands. We are committed to improving and maintaining communication between students, parents and the band director.
This group shall be headed by an executive board which shall consist of the band director, a president or chairperson, a vice president or vice chairperson, a secretary and a treasurer. The executive board will meet '/2 hour before the regular monthly meeting to discuss the information to be given to parents/students and to fine-tune it before presentation. The ultimate say on any issue is the band director.
Board positions will be decided by nomination and vote. If only 1 person is interested in a position, no vote will be needed. Final approval of board members will be at the discretion of the band director. All parents who have a son/daughter participating in any band program are welcome and strongly encouraged to attend the monthly meetings to stay up-to-date, give feed-back and volunteer for assignments.
Fundraiser Guidelines
These fundraisers are held throughout the year. These are optional for your students to participate in. The profit earned goes directly in the band student's Disney account. These funds offset the trip costs.

To keep all of three Cardinal fundraisers consistent here is a list of do's and don'ts.
Do's
1. When your son or daughter gets orders please collect the money immediately.
2. Verify the right amount of money was collected.
3. Enclose the order blank with your order.
4. Please enclose checks made out to BHS Band.
5. Turn order in promptly.
Don'ts
1. Do not enclose cash. Checks only please.
2. Do not send in order without funds enclosed.
